Jomsom Muktinath Trek

  1. 14 Days

Grade:

Destination:Nepal

Activities:NA

Jomsom Muktinath trek is also popular for the spiritual journey. Muktinath temple is a world famous pilgrimage site for the Hindu and Buddhist devotees around the world. This spiritual aura is combined with the Himalayan aura of Annapurna, Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, Himchuli, Fishtail and other peaks.

There are various gateways of the Jomsom Muktinath trekking. Among them, one is to start the trek from Nayapul and head through the Poon Hill trail and join the trek to Tatopani. Another option is to drive directly to Beni and start the trek. The last option is to begin the trek from Jomsom after a short flight from Pokhara to Jomsom. We recommend the first option for the exciting journey that goes through the Kali Gandaki gorge. It also includes a popular lower AAnnapurna trekking, including Ghorepani. It is a splendid trip to enjoy the sunrise views over the Himalayas. Passing the world’s deepest Kali Gandaki gorge, you walk through the windy valley to Kagbeni and finally to the famous religious site- Muktinath temple. Kagbeni is a wonderful place similar to the upper Mustang. Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage groups visit the Muktinath temple with a belief that it takes all the sins of life away.
