Located in the far western region of Nepal, Mt. Kanchenjunga is also renowned as the queen of the Himalayas. It is the third tallest peak in the world with the height of 8586 metres. Kanchenjunga trekking is a restricted area, which requires a restricted area trekking permit. Camping trek is highly preferable to this off-the-beaten route.

Kanchenjunga trek begins from Taplejung after a wonderful flight and then a wonderful drive. This hilly region is itself a charming place. Almost the trail is dominated by the indigenous and ethnic villages. Local people are spending Tibetan lifestyle, who are rich in culture and social traditions. Kanchenjunga region is diverse in flora and fauna. The dense forests are the shelter of the red panda and snow leopard along with other various wild animals. As the trek moves in the alpine region, the stunning views of the snow capped Himalayas astound you. The attractions of Mt. Kanchenjunga, Everest, Makalu, Lhotse and many Tibetan peaks. If you love photography, this trek is an extremely favourable for you. A new insight will be rewarded to the trekkers with the spectacular alpine region, including the Kanchenjunga base camp. Day 02:Kathmandu sightseeing.

Day 03:Fly to Biratnagar.

Day 04:Drive to Taplejung. 9-10 hrs.

Day 05:Trek to Mitlung (921m). 5-6 hrs.

Day 06:Trek to Chirwa (1270m). 6-7 hrs.

Day 07:Trek to Sekathum (1660m). 6-7 hrs.

Day 08:Trek to Amjilosa (2500m). 6-7 hrs.

Day 09:Trek to Ghyabala (2730m). 6-7 hrs.

Day 10:Trek to Ghunsa (3590m). 6-7 hrs.

Day 11:Acclimatization day.

Day 12:Trek to Khambachen (4100m). 6-7 hrs.

Day 13:Trek to Lhonak (4785m). 6-7 hrs.

Day 14:Trek to Pangpema (5343m), North KBC and back to Lhonak. 8-9 hrs.

Day 15:Return to Ghunsa (3590m). 7-8 hrs.

Day 16:Trek to Sele Le (4290m). 6-7 hrs.

Day 17:Trek to Cheram (3880m). 6-7 hrs.

Day 18:Trek to Ramche (4580m) and back to Cheram. 6-7 hrs.

Day 19:Trek to Tortong (2995m). 5-6 hrs.

Day 20:Trek to Yamphudin (2100m). 6-7 hrs.

Day 21:Trek to Thorpu (1500m). 7-8 hrs.

Day 22:Drive to Bhadrapur. 6-7 hrs.

Day 23:Fly back to Kathmandu.

Day 24:Departure.
